Roofing and cladding manufacturer Steadmans has supplied materials for a complete insulated building envelope in striking Nova Silver for Evastore, an independent document storage specialist based in Oswestry, Shropshire. Steadmans Provides Envelope for New Archive Facility in Shropshire
Located next to the company’s existing building, a new 2000 sq metre secure facility has been built which significantly increases Evastore’s capacity to provide its core services of storage, archive management, document retrieval and document destruction.
Steadmans supplied 2,300 lin metres of their 80mm thick AS35 insulated panels for the roof area and 1,500 lin metres of 60mm thick AS35 insulated panels for the walls. In addition, to meet the clients requirements a bright white metal liner sheet was fitted to the inside face of the siderails to provide a smooth easy-to-clean interior finish.
External flashings and gutters were finished in Sargasso Blue to reflect Evastore’s corporate identity. The architect for the project was Studio 83 and the fabricator, erector and installer was Betterskill. Both companies are based in Oswestry.
Mark Lewis, director of Betterskill, commented: “Having worked with Steadmans products on a number of projects over the past two years we had no hesitation in specifying the company’s products for this job. The high standard of customer service, reliable delivery and knowledgeable technical support we received helped us deliver an impressive new facility to a standard and specification which our client is delighted with.”
