| With
heavy snow again throughout the U.K. this winter, Klober has
seen unprecedented demand for its Trapac Snow Guard. Snow
Guard is designed to prevent snow slippage on pitched roofs,
allowing it to pass gradually through a grid as it melts.
Andrew Borthwick of Badenoch Roofing commented, “Following a
recommendation by our suppliers, Highland Steel and Building
Supplies, we have fitted Snow Guard to a number of homes.

Our only other option would have
been to use lengths of heavy 6 x 2 timber, and Snow Guard is
far lighter and easier to fit. The support brackets are just
positioned in the first or second course up from the eaves,
and fitted over the batten and tile. Connectors are also
available to join each section together really easily”. Snow
Guard can be used with profiled or flat interlocking tiles
and slates, and need no additional support battens. Sold in
3-metre lengths, the powder-coated, galvanised steel grids
are available in black, tile red and brown. |
